JD Jurentkuff

Chief Creative Officer @LOLA USA

JD Jurentkuff serves as Chief Creative Officer at LOLA USA. He spreads the agency’s “Crazy Ambition Makes Serious Things Happen” philosophy through an infectious optimism that encourages top-tier talent and cultivates culture-shaping work.

For more than two decades, JD has developed award-winning platforms, product launches, social campaigns, and branded entertainment for some of the world’s most iconic Fortune 500 companies, including Apple, adidas, Porsche, BMW, and PlayStation. His work has received over 100 international awards and accolades, including recognition from Cannes Lions, Effie Awards, D&AD, The One Show, Clios, ADC, and Webbys. Most recently, JD and LOLA partnered with adidas to deliver the globally lauded World Cup campaign, Backyard Legends, featuring Timothée Chalamet, Jude Bellingham, Lamine Yamal, Bad Bunny, and Lionel Messi; LOLA’s recent Emmy nomination for Backyard Legends marks the sixth for JD, a two-time winner.

Preceding LOLA, JD spent a decade at Media Arts Lab, Apple’s dedicated creative agency, rising from Associate Creative Director to Executive Creative Director. There, JD led iPhone across multiple global launch cycles, where he helped architect the creation of the “Practically Magic” brand platform. Among his favorite pieces from that era is the iconic black-and-white film Stroll, featuring Lil Buck dancing across the walls of Mexico City wearing his AirPods. His portfolio also includes three of Apple’s most celebrated holiday films: Misunderstood, Share Your Gifts, and Fuzzy Feelings. He later led TV for Media Arts Lab, overseeing standout campaigns including Everyone But Jon Hamm, Call Me starring Timothée Chalamet, and the Glass Pencil-winning Ted Lasso: Public Displays of Encouragement.

A proud father of two, JD and his wife, Melissa, spend as much time as possible with their family. When he’s not at home, you’ll find him watching films on a plane, listening to music while snowboarding, powering through podcasts at the climbing gym, or walking his two beloved dogs, Maple and Maya.
